Jeremy Wallis

Mr. Wallis started his career in the London reinsurance market before transferring to New York in the 1970s where he held executive and CEO roles for US domiciled reinsurance companies. His experience is heavily underwriting focused from both a U.S. and U.K. perspective and encompasses most lines of business but more specifically property, energy, marine, aviation, auto, commercial casualty, surety and A&H.

For the past 9 years Mr. Wallis has been a reinsurance consultant and arbitrator. 

He has been appointed to almost 50 arbitration panels and has been engaged by U.S., London, European, South American and Asian insurers and reinsurers for both arbitration and expert consulting projects, including litigation support.   Within the consulting arena he has been retained for many years to manage a substantial run-off portfolio of treaty and insurance program business.

He has extensive experience in senior management and corporate affairs and serves on the board of an international reinsurance trade association and on the editorial committee of the Journal of Reinsurance.  He is a Certified ARIAS-US, ARIAS (UK) Panel, AIRROC and RAA listed arbitrator.
